STEP II: Price It Right

Setting a competitive price for your home is one of the best strategies to sell it quickly. To determine a fair price, your real estate agent will look for comparable properties (often known as "comps") in the neighborhood.

STEP III: Stage Your Home

First impressions are lasting impressions and that's no different when it comes to your home! Clean, declutter, and stage your home before selling it. Buyers must be able to picture themselves in the house. Clear out the clutter, give your house a good cleaning, and tuck away any personal belongings like family photos. Hiring external cleaners and home stager can help you a lot especially prior to a major showing.

STEP IV: List Your Property

Let's officially start the home-selling process by listing your home. Your real estate agent will take care of the marketing of your property. Realtors have access to Multiple Listing Service, or MLS, an online database where real estate brokers can advertise properties for sale and look for listings for clients. Your house will receive more exposure if it is listed on the MLS.
